@ Bellum, have you run tests with non-damage drones?
Being a Gallente pilot as well, I can't help but think that perhaps larger ships will need to start using something other than damage drones now 
So I'm curious, how do ECM/Webbing/TDing/TPing drones benefit/hinder blaster boats? If anything has changed of course.
In regards to the Gallente AFs; The scram boost overall greatly benefits these ships since they no longer are required to fit a web. The web nerf also makes these ships viable for taking out larger targets. They are still too slow to take out intys and the like, but I think they are now nicely in line with their HAC counterparts. The mass reduction in conjunction with the aforementioned and an AB make these ships quite deadly (all AFs, not just Gallente). T1 cruisers should now fear these ships, as they should have from the beginning.
Enyo - Still wholly crippled by only having 2 mid slots. However, as an anti-support ship (like the Retribution) it shines. The Enyo, Harpy, Retribution and Minmatar AFs are pretty much T2 destroyers. Fit to tank and with ranged weaponry, there are no interceptors capable of killing them without much backup or some serious piloting finesse. The overall speed nerf makes this a much better fleet ship.
Ishkur - Amazing. Fit and rigged to tank, with an AB and blasters. There is simply no other word for it. Albeit (comparatively) expensive to do so, it is very possible to tank and kill HACs fit for speed or gank. Drones make the ship, obviously, and blasters allow for some delicious DPS. I found that ECM drones help in getting under the guns of larger turrets, then swapping out to damage drones to counter hostile drones etc. This is seriously a good ship.
In conclusion, if you think AFs are still a gimmick. Think again. The only way you are going to kill one before it kills you is if you've got ewar, some neuts, or manage to kill it before it gets under your guns. They have no trouble tanking/killing drones.
I for one have already got a couple lined up and am waiting, with baited breath, for the patch to go live
